Med/Surg RN Job in Denver, CO

HCA HealthONE Swedish is seeking a registered nurse for a 91-day travel assignment in their Medical/Surgical unit. You will work the night shift (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) on a 12-hour schedule, three days per week.

Unit Details

• Location: 8 Tower, 7 North-Spine floor of the main building
• 18–20 bed unit
• Night shift team includes 1 charge nurse, 3 nurses, 1 LPN, and 1–2 PCTs
• Patient ratio: 6:1 with LPN support

Clinical Focus

You will provide care to post-operative patients, with emphasis on burn and flap wound management. Your responsibilities include wound and dressing care, ostomy care, and patient support using specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts, air mattresses, wound vacs, and PCA pumps. The unit uses Meditech for electronic health records.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year acute care hospital Med/Surg experience
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Burn care experience
• Wound care and ostomy care experience
• ACLS certification

Assignment Details

Weekly pay: $1,878. Start date: October 5, 2026. This is a 91-day assignment. Team player mentality and positive attitude essential.
