Telemetry RN Job in Des Moines, IA

You will work as an RN in our Telemetry resource pool at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center. This is a 6-month travel assignment ideal for nurses seeking flexibility and diverse clinical experience across multiple medical-surgical units.

Shift and Schedule

• 3 twelve-and-a-half-hour night shifts per week, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend rotation
• Every other holiday rotation

Your Role

As a resource pool RN, you will float across multiple med-surg floors to provide staffing support where needed. You must be comfortable working across different patient populations and care settings, including:

• Med-Surg Telemetry
• Orthopedics
• Neurology Step Down
• Oncology
• Surgical Telemetry
• General Med-Surg units

You may also be assigned to our West Lakes Campus location, situated 9.5 miles from downtown Des Moines, as staffing needs dictate.

Assignment Details

• Duration: 26 weeks (182 days)
• Start date: August 24, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,144
• 24-hour non-billable orientation waived
