Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology @ Ochsner Medical Center - Baton Rouge

<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work standard procedure hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with flexibility for earlier or later procedures as needed<br>• Call responsibilities divided equally among team members, typically two nights per week and every other weekend<br>• Must respond to department within 30 minutes when on call<br>• Weekend call coverage from close of business Friday to department opening Monday morning<br>• Float between Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Cath Lab as needed<br>• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations<br>• Patient ratio of 2 patients during day shifts<br>• Daily census of approximately 5 patients with 5 visits per day<br>• 24 hours of orientation provided<br>• 7 weekend shifts required per contract<br>• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT, and Louisiana State License<br>• 2 years of experience in specialty required<br>• Travel experience required - first time travelers not accepted<br>• Must be comfortable with Emergency Team assignments during emergency events<br>• Epic charting system experience preferred<br>• Must maintain distance of over 65 miles from facility address to driver&#39;s license address</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This major healthcare facility features a comprehensive interventional radiology and cardiology department that works collaboratively to provide advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
