Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 4x10 hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday
• 10 call shifts per month required, including 3 weekend call shifts (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
• Once per month, a long weekend off is given without requesting (e.g., Friday and Monday off)
• Block scheduling type
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience required
• Travel experience required; first-time travelers will not be accepted
• Must be located more than 65 miles from facility address
• Required certifications: ARRT R and BLS (AHA)
• Preferred certifications: ARRT VI and ACLS
• Must have Compact or Louisiana license in hand upon submittal
• Skills required include but are not limited to: angiography, angioplasty, embolization, fluoroscopy, PICC lines, interventional radiology procedures, endovascular interventions, radiofrequency ablation, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, and sterile technique
• Special equipment used includes: Siemens Fluoro, Medrad power injector, GE CT machine, and Philips Epiq ultrasound
• Patient population: Adults
• Daily census of 8 patients across 2 rooms
• Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
