Cath Lab Technologist Job in Dubuque, IA

UnityPoint–Finley Hospital in Dubuque, IA is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work a 4x9 day shift schedule, supporting peripheral and coronary angiography, PCI, and pacemaker procedures. This role handles approximately 4 patients/scans per day and requires proficiency with advanced imaging and interventional equipment.

Equipment & Responsibilities

• Operate Artis Zee C-arm, Impella, IABP, and Acist Injector systems
• Demonstrate fluoroscopy proficiency and cardiac cath lab discipline expertise
• Work with hospital-provided light blue scrubs

Schedule & Call Requirements

• 50% on-call coverage with every-other-weekend rotations
• Every-other-holiday on-call; required to work 1–2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless unit is closed
• Billable overtime applies between 36–40 hours per week

Requirements

• 24 months of current Cardiac/Cath Lab experience
• Completed at least one prior travel contract within the previous 12 months
• ARRT or RCIS (CCI) certificate
• ACLS (AHA or ARC) and BLS (AHA or ARC) certifications
• Iowa Radiology license highly preferred; non-licensed applicants accepted but must apply for license upon offer acceptance
• Valid driver's license required
• Cardiac cath discipline skills checklist completion required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Impella, Acist Injector, iFR, and IVUS
• Professional reference from charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within past 24 months

Compensation & Timeline

Weekly pay: $2,903.04. Assignment runs 91 days, beginning September 8, 2026.
