CVOR Technologist Job in Lexington, Kentucky

Join Baptist Healthcare System, Inc. as a CVOR Technologist in Lexington, Kentucky. This 124-week travel position offers competitive weekly pay of $2,196.47 working a mid-shift schedule from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM with CVOR call requirements. You'll begin on June 29, 2026.

As a Surgical Tech, you'll function as a vital member of the surgical team under the direction of the registered nurse. Your responsibilities include performing scrub functions and supporting the perioperative plan of care while maintaining the highest standards of aseptic technique.

Key Duties:

• Aseptically set up and maintain mayo and back table organization throughout procedures
• Correctly count and account for all required items prior to, during, and following procedures
• Anticipate surgeon needs and check instrumentation, equipment, and supplies prior to use
• Demonstrate knowledge of operative procedures including draping, instrumentation, suture, and equipment
• Utilize principles of aseptic technique including gowning, gloving, sterilization, and disinfection
• Handle, identify, and label medications on the sterile field
• Properly dispose of sharps including needles, blades, trocars, wire, staples, and bovie tips
• Demonstrate knowledge of sterilization and disinfection techniques and various modalities
• Maintain positive customer relations and respond promptly to patient and team needs
• Participate in unit activities including staff meetings and orientation of new staff

You'll complete all required safety training programs and demonstrate knowledge of AORN Guidelines. Your focus will be ensuring provision of comfort, safety, and quality perioperative care for every patient.
