RN - ICU Med Surg

Job Details:

• Perform a variety of integrated pre and post-operative critical care functions using the nursing process
• Assess patients for physical, emotional, psychosocial, and family support needs
• Organize and coordinate all aspects of patient care according to patient needs
• Evaluate patient progress by correlating patient information with nursing knowledge to determine if goals are being met according to the patient's plan of care or clinical path
• Consult and collaborate with members of the healthcare team in planning and implementing total patient care for individuals
• Three weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period (Friday and Saturday)
• No on-call responsibilities
• Minimum 2+ years of SICU experience required
• Prior travel assignment history preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Candidate's permanent address must be outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
• Active Michigan nursing license required with LARA and/or Nursys verification
• Skills checklist current within 1 year pertinent to ICU specialty required
• 2 supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years required
