MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Wednesday through Friday, 5:00 PM to 5:30 AM, 3x12 Night shifts (36 hours only)
• No call requirement
• No float requirement
• 13-week contract
• 3 MRI rooms with a daily caseload of approximately 40 patients
• Third shift tech works independently in the department (occasional Ops Assistant may be on duty, not guaranteed)
• One week of first shift orientation, then assessed for independence
• Scrubs: Royal Blue tops and bottoms
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required MRI procedure experience: Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Diffusion (non-brain), Gradient Echo Imaging, Image Post-Processing, Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP), Multiplanar Reconstruction (MRP), Perfusion, Peripheral Magnetic Resonance, Spectroscopy, Spin Echo Images, Surface Coils, T-1 & T-2 Weighted Images
• Required work setting experience: Outpatient, Inpatient, ER, Community Hospital, Adult ICU
• Required general setting experience: PACS, Contrast
• Special equipment: Siemens (Avanto and Sola) and GE Premier — must be competent on both
• Unit systems: EPIC, Visage (PACS) — Epic charting experience required
• Patient age groups: Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT(R) or ARRT(MR)
• ARRT credential must be either R.T.(R)(MR)(ARRT) or R.T.(MR)(ARRT)
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
