Telemetry RN Job in Midland, MI

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Observation unit at MyMichigan Health - Midland. This is a temporary position running for 91 days, beginning September 21, 2026.

Shift & Schedule

• 3x12 hour nights
• Every other weekend schedule required
• No on-call responsibilities

Your Responsibilities

• Assess, implement, and monitor patient care for outpatients assigned to observation status
• Provide direct patient care including medication administration, treatments, call lights, assisting with transfers, and responding to alarms
• Regularly assess patient needs and provide skilled nursing services as prescribed by the physician authorized plan of care
• Evaluate effectiveness of treatment plans and collaborate with team members to update or revise plans as needed
• Process physician and provider orders accurately, completely, and in a timely manner
• Follow up regarding medication changes and order clarifications

Requirements

• Active Michigan nursing license with LARA and/or Nursys verification
• Minimum 2 years of Observation experience
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Skills checklist current within one year pertinent to Ambulatory specialty
• 2 supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• You must reside outside of a 50-mile radius from the facility

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,101.
