Telemetry RN Job in Bay City, MI

McLaren Bay Region is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 91-day travel assignment in our Telemetry unit. You'll work 3x12 hour night shifts on an every-other-weekend schedule with no on-call responsibilities. This position offers $1,995.84 per week and begins September 14, 2026.

Role Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments upon admission and monitor condition trends throughout each hospital stay
• Prepare, administer, and chart prescribed medications including intravenous therapy and manage wound care or specialized equipment
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and multidisciplinary team members to develop and execute individualized care plans
• Instruct patients and families on post-surgery care, medication schedules, and post-discharge instructions
• Recognize early signs of medical deterioration and take swift action to stabilize patients before emergencies occur

Requirements

• Current Michigan nursing license
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg and Telemetry experience
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Float pool participation as assigned
