PCU RN Job in Palm Springs, CA

Desert Regional Medical Center is seeking an RN for a 13-week travel assignment in our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). You will work the night shift (7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.) on a 3x12 schedule, providing direct clinical care to patients transitioning through intermediate levels of acuity.

Your Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care for assigned patients each shift
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:4
• Supervise delegated clinical staff and support their competency development
• Ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care standards
• Manage resources efficiently as they relate to patient care needs
• Float to PCU, Telemetry, and Med-Surg levels of care as needed

What We Need:

• Current RN licensure
• Cerner electronic health record (EHR) experience required
• Solid color scrubs
• Flexibility to work across multiple care settings within the unit structure

• Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts per week
