PCU Registered Nurse Job in Oxnard, California

St Johns Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Progressive Care Unit (PCU). You will provide direct patient care in an acute care setting, working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 3x12 schedule with every other weekend required.

Position Details:

• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Schedule: Every other weekend required
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: November 9, 2026
• Weekly pay: $1,988

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care in a progressive care environment
• Utilize Cerner charting system for documentation
• Participate in first-to-float staffing model as needed
• Work in an acute care setting alongside experienced clinical teams

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• BSN not required

Assignment Details:

The hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, or up to 3 shifts for assignments shorter than 13 weeks. You will work in a collaborative acute care environment where your clinical skills and night-shift experience are valued.
