Med Surg RN Job in Lakewood, CO

You will work as a Registered Nurse in a 28-bed Med/Surg unit on the 3rd floor of St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, CO. This is a night shift position on a 3x12 schedule, running for 91 days starting November 16, 2026. Your weekly pay is $2,073.60.

Your Role

You will care for post-surgical patients requiring close monitoring and skilled nursing interventions. Your responsibilities include managing patients with drains, chest tubes, and acute pain management needs. You will titrate medications including analgesics for pain control, anticoagulants to prevent blood clots, and antihypertensives to manage blood pressure. Telemetry monitoring is supported by dedicated tele techs in the central monitoring room.

• Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:5–6 on night shift
• Charge nurse and nurse aides available on unit
• Respiratory therapy equipment: nasal cannula up to 6L, CPAP, and BiPAP (night use only)
• Charting system: EPIC
• Scrub color: Navy Blue

Qualifications

You must have general med/surg nursing experience with surgical population experience preferred. Current ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications are required. You will work in an acute care setting.
