OR RN Job in Palmer, AK

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center, located in Palmer, Alaska. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 20, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• Day shift: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating between departments
• No block scheduling
• No 48-hour holiday blackout restrictions
• Weekly pay: $2,482

Facility Overview

Susitna Surgery Center operates 3 beds with 2 operating rooms and 1 procedure room. You will use the HST electronic medical record system and are required to wear green scrubs.

Your Role

You will function as a circulating nurse, supporting surgical teams across multiple specialties including ENT, GI, GYN, Urology, and Orthopedic cases. A minimum of 3 years of operating room experience is required, with demonstrated circulating experience across these specialty areas.

Required Credentials

• Current RN licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred—the facility will assist you in obtaining this certification if needed
