ED Registered Nurse Job in Odessa, TX

Join Odessa Regional Medical Center as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department. This is a 91-day travel nursing assignment beginning June 15, 2026, offering competitive compensation and the opportunity to deliver high-acuity care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Position Overview

You will work 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM), providing direct patient care and clinical leadership in the Emergency Room. Your role includes shift accountability for safe, evidence-based care delivery in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and hospital protocols. You will demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership while anticipating patient needs and planning safe care interventions. You will maintain clinical competencies through continuing education, delegate patient care priorities to available staff based on their education and experience, and provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Prior travel healthcare experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and Stroke certification
• Navy scrubs required

Compensation and Schedule

Weekly pay: $2,410. Assignment duration: 91 days. You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week with a mandatory 30-minute lunch break each shift.
