ED RN Job in Odessa, TX

Assignment Details

• Location: Odessa, TX
• Shift: 3 x 12-hour nights (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with 30-minute lunch break)
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: June 22, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,410

Your Role

You will deliver direct patient care in the Emergency Department, utilizing the Nursing Process to assess and respond to acute patient needs. You will demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment in planning safe, effective care. As a charge nurse or senior RN on your shift, you will provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel, delegate tasks appropriately based on staff credentials and experience, and maintain accountability for shift operations and patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide shift accountability for Emergency Room patient care
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership
• Delegate patient care priorities to available staff
• Supervise and provide direction to assigned personnel
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education

Qualifications

• Current RN license (TX)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing or staffing experience required
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• TNCC certification
• Stroke certification
