CVOR RN Job in Charleston, SC

Trident Regional Medical Center in Charleston, SC is seeking a Registered Nurse for a travel position in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR). This is a 91-day assignment beginning July 27, 2026.

Position Details

• Shift: 4x10 days, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Weekly pay: $2,628
• Circulating RN in general OR with CVOR focus
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation
• 3 call shifts (12-hour) per 4 weeks; days and nights available
• No floating required

Role Responsibilities

You will function as a circulating RN in the operating room, managing cardiac and vascular surgical cases. Your responsibilities include patient positioning, operative site prepping, case facilitation, and documentation in Meditech. You will work with surgeons on heart and valve replacements, coronary artery bypass grafts, femoral-popliteal bypasses, abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) repairs, and mitral or aortic valve replacements. You will also support general surgical cases across orthopedics, neurosurgery, plastics, trauma, robotic OB/GYN, and urology.

Required Qualifications

• RN license
• BLS certification
• Thoracic and vascular surgery experience
• Strong knowledge of cardiac, coronary artery bypass, AAA, and valve replacement procedures
• Advanced general circulating skills
• AIDET patient experience standards

Preferred Experience

• da Vinci Xi Robot experience
• Advanced spine surgery
• Mako joint robot experience

Hospital-provided scrubs are required. This position is ideal for an experienced CVOR nurse looking to expand surgical knowledge across multiple specialties in a dynamic operating room environment.
