Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Day shift schedule with every other weekend and holiday coverage required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT
• Provide respiratory care across multiple patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform adult critical care respiratory services including mechanical ventilation and weaning
• Administer aerosol treatments, nebulized medications, and inhaled therapies including Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, and Xopenex
• Manage BiPAP, CPAP, HFNC, and various ventilator modes including IMV/SIMV
• Perform and assist with intubation, extubation, and tracheostomy care and management
• Draw and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs)
• Operate and troubleshoot specialized equipment including Hamilton G5, Respironics V60, Optiflow, CoughAssist, Vest, and IPV
• Support NICU, emergency department, and rapid response team functions
• Perform bronchoscopy assistance, chest physiotherapy, sputum specimen collection, and nasal/oral airway management
• Administer nitric oxide (iNO) and inhaled Flolan therapies
• Work with interdisciplinary support including Respiratory Services and Rapid Response Teams
