Opportunity:

RN - Endoscopy GI

Job Details:

• Monday through Friday schedule with shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
• On-call required for overnights and weekends
• Shift options: 5 eight-hour shifts or 4 ten-hour shifts per week
• Answer patient questions and address their concerns
• Observe and monitor patient vital signs
• Sedate patients before procedures and recover patients after procedures
• Administer necessary medications and IV drips to patients
• Complete all necessary documentation including patient notes and discharge documents
• Prepare instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures
• Clean and sterilize equipment before use
• Provide assistance to physicians throughout procedures
• Perform patient intake for GI procedures
• Recover patients from general anesthesia
• 2 years of previous endoscopy procedure experience required
• Telemetry monitoring and rhythm identification required
• Conscious sedation experience required
• Expert IV insertion required
• New York State RN license required
• BLS Certification (AHA only) required
• ACLS Certification (AHA only) required
