ED - Emergency Room

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work in a 34-bed Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient ratio
• Patient population consists of a mixture of cases including drips and titrations
• Every fourth weekend schedule required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Scrub colors required: Black, Navy Blue, Caribbean Blue (solids only)
• May be required to float to Marion ED (freestanding campus)
• Must be available to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
• 24 months of Emergency Room/Emergency Department experience required
• Must have completed a travel contract within the previous 18 months
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Active Iowa nursing license or compact/multistate license required
• Required certifications: TNCC, BLS (AHA), NIH Stroke Scale, ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
• De-escalation certification (CPI, MAB, MOAB, or SAMA) highly preferred
• Skills checklist specific to Emergency Room/Emergency Department required
• Professional reference from charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the last 24 months preferred
• Valid driver's license required
