Join MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center as a Registered Nurse in our Telemetry unit. This is a 6-month travel assignment offering competitive weekly pay of $2,021 on a 3x12 night shift schedule.

About the Role

You will provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring. Your responsibilities include:

• Monitor cardiac rhythms continuously and respond promptly to telemetry alarms
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Assess patient conditions and document care provided in the medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain clinical competency in telemetry monitoring and medical-surgical nursing practices

Assignment Details

This position runs for 181 days, beginning November 29, 2026. You will work every other weekend and every other holiday, allowing for predictable time off. Night shifts provide a distinct rhythm and often attract nurses who thrive in quieter, focused environments.
