Opportunity:

RN - OR

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• No night shifts as unit is closed at night
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Must work 2 Mondays and 2 Fridays per schedule period
• Must be available to work during inclement weather
• Self-scheduling with flexibility based on unit needs
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR system required
• Day Surgery, PreOp, or PreAdmission Testing experience preferred
• Both adult and pediatric experience is ideal; adult experience prioritized, then pediatric
• IV starts experience required
• Pediatric experience required
• PreAdmission Testing experience preferred
• Perform procedures including General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedic Scopes
• Patient ratios: PreOp, PreAdmission Testing, and Holding - 1 patient at a time; Post-Op - 3:1
• Work with equipment including Meditech and IV Pumps
• Float to PreOp, Post-Op, and PreAdmission Testing areas as needed
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs
