Med Surg RN Job in Portland, ME

You will work as an RN on a 26-bed Medical-Surgical Neuro unit at MMC-P – Bramhall Campus in Portland, ME. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 26, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• 4x12 night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM or 7:00 AM–7:30 PM)
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• $3,433.92 weekly pay

Patient Care

You will care for neurosurgical patients, including those recovering from spinal surgery, spine fractures, brain tumors, seizure disorders, VP shunts, head bleeds, traumatic injuries, and joint replacement surgery. Patient ratios are 1:4–5 on days and 1:5–6 on nights.

Expectations

• Neuro/Neurosurgery experience required
• Float to other units as needed
• Proactive team player with a positive attitude
• EMR system: Epic
• Any color scrubs accepted; professional appearance must be maintained
