Opportunity:

RN - Tele Float Pool

Job Details:

• 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 4 weekend shifts per schedule (Saturday/Sunday) required
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
• First to float between all Telemetry and MedSurg units
• Floating required between Chandler and Mercy Gilbert campuses (9 miles apart); notification of campus and unit given 1.5 hours prior to shift start
• Floating mid-shift to different units is possible; rare but possible to float to another campus within a single shift
• Must clock out when leaving one campus and clock in upon arrival at the other campus
• Depending on skill level, may float to ICU, Cardiac Tele, MedSurg, and any holding areas (Cath Lab, ER, observation floor)
• Must be able to titrate cardiac drips
• Must be able to interpret EKGs; centralized telemetry monitoring across units
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3-4 on Tele units and 1:4 on MedSurg units
• Scrub color: Navy
• Charting system: Cerner
• Trauma Level 1, Acute Care setting
• Must pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to contract signing (maximum 2 attempts, within 48 hours of offer)
• Must pass a pass/fail Simulation Lab on day one of orientation
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• BSN not required
• Valid state license required for submission
