Telemetry RN Job in Chandler, AZ

Chandler Regional Medical Center is seeking an RN for a Telemetry float pool position. You will work 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) on a 105-day travel contract beginning September 28, 2026, earning $2,229.12 weekly.

Role Overview

As a float pool nurse, you will be first to float between Telemetry and Med-Surg units across Chandler and Mercy Gilbert campuses (9 miles apart). You may also float to ICU, Cardiac Tele, holding areas including the Cath Lab, ER, and observation floors, depending on skill level. Campus and unit assignments are provided 1.5 hours before shift start. Mid-shift floating to different units is possible, and you may occasionally float to another campus within a single shift. You must clock out when leaving one campus and clock in upon arrival.

Clinical Requirements

• Titrate cardiac drips
• Interpret EKGs with centralized telemetry monitoring across units
• Manage nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:3–4 on Tele units and 1:4 on Med-Surg units
• Pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to contract signing (maximum 2 attempts within 48 hours of offer)
• Complete a pass/fail Simulation Lab on day one of orientation
• Hold current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Maintain a valid state license

Schedule & Expectations

You will work 4 weekend shifts per schedule (Saturday/Sunday) and must work 2 of 3 major holidays. Scrubs are navy. Charting is performed in Cerner. This is a Trauma Level 1, acute care setting. A BSN is not required.
