Opportunity:

Pharmacist - Pharmacist Inpatient

Job Details:

• Inpatient pharmacy setting with a 5x8 rotating schedule including weekdays and some weekends (every 3rd weekend)
• Day shift times: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, and 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Evening shift times: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM and 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
• Overnight shift times: 7:30 PM – 7:30 AM and 8:30 PM – 7:30 AM; overnight schedule follows a 7 nights on, 7 nights off rotation
• Longer assignments through January 9, 2027 are available but not required; travelers must work two of the three winter holidays
• Active Virginia Pharmacist license required in hand at time of submission
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required
• PharmD and Registered Pharmacist (RPh) credentials required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient pharmacy experience required
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Epic proficiency required with no exceptions
• Required skills include: IV admixture/IV pharmacy experience, patient-controlled analgesia (PCA), antibiotic management, drug interaction review, medication order entry, and medication order verification
• Preferred skills include: chemotherapy experience, anticoagulation management, pharmacokinetic dosing, and renal dosing
