Physical Therapist Assistant Job in Webster, MA

Tide Health Group – Webster Manor Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 91-day temporary assignment in Webster, MA. You will work a 5x8 day shift with no on-call or weekend requirements, earning $1,670.40 weekly.

About the Role

You will provide rehabilitative and skilled physical therapy services to patients with physical functioning disorders under the supervision and direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. Your responsibilities include:

• Administer therapeutic procedures including manual techniques, ambulation training, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive device instruction
• Assess patient progress and communicate with your supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Report treatment outcomes and effectiveness to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders
• Document all services in the electronic documentation system and maintain accurate patient records per company policy
• Record treatment minutes and services provided per regulatory requirements
• Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation team meetings
• Work with your supervising Physical Therapist to obtain necessary durable medical equipment and supplies
• Support and supervise students under Physical Therapist guidance

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts PTA license required
• Minimum 1 year of PTA experience required; new graduates accepted with Level II clinical experience
• Long-term care or rehabilitation experience required
• Knowledge of evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Adherence to APTA and state-required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics
