Job Details:

• Variable shift schedule working 8 or 10-hour shifts with 12-hour day shifts also noted
• 1:1 and 2:1 patient ratios
• Call requirement includes some nights and weekends, 1 week of nights per week, and 2 twelve-hour weekend call shifts per month
• 30-minute call response time required
• Holiday shifts required
• Scrubs are provided
• Work in a 7-suite OR with 18-20 cases per day
• Common case types include laparoscopic, bariatrics, ortho, neuro, urology, GYN, and ENT procedures
• Scrubbing preferred but not required for RNs
• Floating limited to pre and post-op only
• Floor-specific orientation provided
• Charting system: Cerner
• Telemetry system: Phillips
• Ventilators available on unit
• 24/7 surgeon on call, respiratory therapy, and pharmacy support available
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• BSN not required
• Valid California nursing license required
• Trauma Level 3 facility
• Acute care setting
