RN - CVICU

Job Details:

• 12-week assignment
• Night shift, 3x12s, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Every other weekend requirement with holiday rotation
• No on-call required
• Float required within scope to meet facility needs; agency staff float first
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Minimum 1 year of experience required (2 years preferred)
• First-time travelers not accepted; travel experience required
• SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CC RN
• Cardiac and Neuro experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• No parking cost
• Patients served: Adults and Geriatrics
• Patient diagnoses include post open heart surgery
• Interdisciplinary support includes Respiratory Services and Phlebotomy
• Special equipment includes chest tubes, IABP, Impella, CRRT, temporary pacers, Swan Ganz, and cardiac output monitors
• Block schedule requests can be submitted for approval prior to assignment but are not guaranteed
• All requested time off must be included at time of submission; approval based on facility needs
