RN - ER

Job Details:

• 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 12-hour variable shifts with majority of shifts running 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM, 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM, and 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM with occasional flex to 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM
• PM shifts may start at 11:00 AM or 2:00 PM
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• On-call requirement of 12 hours per 6-week period with a 30-minute response time and a 2-hour callback minimum
• May be required to float to locations in Merrill, Antigo, Medford, and Stanley
• Work in a Trauma Level II, 18-bed unit serving stroke, cardiac, neuro, pediatrics, geriatrics, and respiratory patients
• Fast-paced environment with a 3-4 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Responsibilities include drawing labs, administering nebulizer treatments, and charting in Epic
• Pyxis medication dispenser utilized on unit
• Respiratory therapy and X-ray staff available on-site in the ED
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required with at least 3-6 months of prior travel experience firmly required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS (ARC or AHA)
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
