ED RN Job in Janesville, WI

Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center in Janesville is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on night shifts. This 91-day travel assignment begins June 25, 2026, and offers weekly pay of $2,365.20.

About the Role

You will work night shifts in a fast-paced emergency setting, caring for acutely ill and injured patients. You may be assigned to multiple Emergency Department locations within Janesville and Beloit, allowing you to experience different practice environments.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care based on physician orders and clinic policy
• Administer medications and treatments according to approved nursing techniques, policies, and standards of care
• Document care delivery in compliance with established standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support the patient's longitudinal plan of care
• Provide patient and family education and instruction
• Apply critical thinking to patient safety and experience, escalating concerns appropriately through the chain of command
• Participate in department performance improvement activities and shared governance
• Engage in unit practice activities and peer review processes

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN Licensure
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Current TNCC or TNS certification
• Education verification required
