ED - Emergency Room

Job Details:

• 12-hour Day/Night Rotation shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:30 PM - 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• On-call requirement of 12 hours in a 6-week period with a 30-minute response time
• Call back minimum of 2 hours
• May be required to float to other locations including Merrill, Antigo, Medford, and Stanley
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required with at least 3-6 months of prior travel experience (FIRM)
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS (ARC or AHA)
• EPIC charting experience required
• Experience with Pyxis medication dispenser preferred
• RNs are responsible for drawing labs and performing nebulizer treatments
• Work in an 18-bed Trauma Level II unit that is stroke certified, with patients including cardiac, neuro, pediatrics, geriatrics, and respiratory cases
• Fast-paced environment with a patient ratio of 3-4 patients per nurse
• X-ray staff and respiratory therapy available on-site in the emergency department
• Must be a hard worker, resilient, able to manage change, work independently, and complete tasks in a timely manner
• Scrub colors: Any color
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
