ICU - Intensive Care Unit

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Open positions available for both day and night shifts
• Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Weekend coverage required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Active PA or Compact nursing license required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (AHA certifications only accepted)
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Must be available to work every other holiday
• Candidates must be willing to float within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius if needed
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Patient diagnoses include Medical ICU, Stroke, Sepsis, Renal Failure, Respiratory Failure, and Substance Withdrawal
• Required skills include arterial line management, ventilator management, CRRT/CVVHD, ECMO, central line care, continuous IV sedation and paralytics, vasoactive drip titration, proning, BiPAP/CPAP management, ICP monitoring, pulmonary artery/Swan-Ganz monitoring, and CVA/Acute Stroke management
• Special equipment experience required: CRRT, arterial lines, and Swan lines
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and more
• Two supervisor references preferred
• Local candidates accepted at the travel rate
