Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call required
• May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs or between like units and sister facilities
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS (American Heart Association only)
• Preferred certifications: ACLS
• Experience required with Wound Vacs, Chest Tubes, and Surgical Dressings
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• Charting system: Epic
• Treat adult patients with diagnoses including CHF, diabetes, pneumonia, total joint replacements, UTI, wounds, chest pain, amputations, and hypertension
• Perform special procedures including dialysis (peritoneal), chest tube management, wound care, and post-op surgical care
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams
• Unit census of 24-28 patients daily across 42 beds
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
