PICU RN Job in Oklahoma City, OK

You will provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in a high-acuity intensive care setting at OU Health in Oklahoma City. This position requires you to manage complex patient conditions, from acute to critical, while working as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to an assigned group of pediatric intensive care patients
• Monitor and respond to physiological data and patient manifestations, intervening as needed
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and medical treatments
• Administer medications and manage intravenous infusions and blood products
• Track and communicate changes in physician orders for assigned patients
• Assist physicians with patient examinations and diagnostic procedures
• Collaborate with patients and families to communicate care plans and hospital procedures
• Coordinate referrals for ongoing patient care needs
• Delegate appropriate tasks to support staff

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• Level I trauma experience required
• ICU experience required
