Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 4x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Patient ratios of 1:6 to 1:7
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call required
• May float to like units with like patients to meet facility needs
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required - first-time travelers not accepted
• SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Med/Surg experience required
• Telemetry experience preferred, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Skills include: central line care/management, CVA management, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, nasal cannula, oxygen administration, peripheral line care/management, starting and maintaining IVs, and telemetry
• Charting system: Epic
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• Parking at no cost
• Block schedule requests may be submitted for approval prior to assignment but are not guaranteed
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Attendance at staff meetings is required
• All assigned modules must be completed prior to start date
