ED RN Job in Mount Pleasant, TX

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Titus Regional Medical Center in Mount Pleasant, Texas. This is a day shift position running 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on a 3x12 schedule, with a 91-day assignment beginning August 24, 2026.

About the Role

You will provide routine and complex nursing care in a 16-bed emergency room with 1 trauma bay and 4 fast-track beds. The department handles high volumes of stroke and STEMI patients, MVC traumas, and a significant psychiatric and geriatric population, including pediatric patients. A 24/7 cath lab operates on-site. You will practice independently, assess patient situations holistically, administer medications and treatments per protocol, monitor for side effects and treatment effectiveness, and document patient history, symptoms, and care delivered. You will educate patients, families, and caregivers; address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs; and delegate appropriately to other care providers.

Requirements

• Current Texas RN license or compact license required at time of submission
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA only), ACLS (AHA only), PALS (AHA only), TNCC
• 1 reference required

Compensation and Schedule

You will earn $1,944 per week. The assignment runs 91 days with flexible scheduling. Note that travelers may float to different units as needed.
