MRI Technologist Job in Wausau, WI

Aspirus Wausau Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our imaging department on a travel assignment. You'll work Monday through Thursday, 12:30 PM to 11:00 PM, with one call shift per week, providing 40 guaranteed hours weekly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate GE 1.5T and GE 3T MRI systems
• Perform patient positioning, scanning, and image acquisition according to protocols
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout MRI procedures
• Document procedures and findings in EPIC EMR
• Float to other Central Aspirus locations as needed
• Participate in on-call rotation (one night per week)
• Work every 4th weekend, alternating between working shifts and on-call status
• Participate in holiday rotation as needed

Required Qualifications:

• ARRT(MR) certification
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum 3 years of MR experience; travel experience highly preferred
• Associate Degree or Certificate in MRI or related field
• Proficiency with GE MRI equipment
• EPIC EMR experience

Assignment Requirements:

Contractors must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility. This is a travel healthcare position offering you the opportunity to build your clinical experience while working with advanced imaging technology in a community hospital setting.
