Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Patient ratios of 1:6-7 on days, nights, and weekends
• Every other weekend requirement with holiday rotation
• No on-call required
• May float to other med/surg units as needed to meet facility needs
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• South Carolina RN license or Compact license required prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• Charting system: Epic
• Free parking available
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Required skills include: CVA care, feeding tube care and management, isolation precautions/PPE, med/surg, nasal cannula, oxygen administration, peripheral line care/management, renal failure management, starting and maintaining IVs, and use of rapid response/code teams
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
