Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI RAD Tech

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM on Sunday, Wednesday, and Saturday
• Variable shifts may be required based on census
• Perform MRI procedures including using and building protocols
• Screen patients for contraindications pertaining to exams and follow safety requirements per ACR and facility protocols
• Interview and educate patients on magnetic resonance imaging procedures, addressing concerns with tact and courtesy
• Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols and requesting removal of hazardous metal objects
• Monitor patients at all times both visually and verbally
• Maintain a clean and orderly environment to promote safety for patients and coworkers
• Maintain and report on equipment status and help monitor inventory
• Perform tasks in other departments including CT and X-ray as needed
• Provide care appropriate to patients of all ages including geriatric, pediatric, and general population
• Work with electronic medical records system
• ARRT registration or other qualified MRI program licensing required
• BLS certification required
• Ability to work with limited supervision required
• Frequent standing, walking, sitting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and lifting required
