Job Details:

• Monday through Friday schedule with four 10-hour shifts from 10:45 AM to 9:15 PM
• Call requirement of 40-60 hours per 6-week schedule, which may vary
• May be asked to work charge duties if within job scope; charge experience preferred
• Scrub experience is a plus
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Floating is required - candidates may float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals
• Minimum 2-3 years of OR experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Cerner charting system experience required
• Required certifications: BLS
• Required skillset (all within the last 3 years): Circulate, General, Ortho, Robotics, GYN, Thoracic, ENT, Oral, Urology, Whipple, Plastics (free flap), and Liver resection
• Special equipment experience required: DaVinci XI and DaVinci Xi Surgical System (DV5 University)
• Additional skills include: abdominal/vaginal hysterectomy, arthroscopy, bronchoscopy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, colonoscopy, colorectal robotic surgery, cystoscopy, Da Vinci robotics, EGD, free flap microvascular, gastrointestinal robotic surgery, gynecologic robotic surgery, hernia repair, laminectomy/discectomy, laparoscopic assisted procedures, laryngectomy, lobe resection, mastectomy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, thoracotomy, thyroidectomy, tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy, total joint replacement, tracheostomy, urologic robotic surgery, VATS, and Whipple
• Patients served include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Daily census of 70-80 patients with 24 beds
