Job Details:

• Monday through Friday schedule with call and/or holiday coverage required; weekend-only position also available
• On-call requirement of 40-60 hours per 6-week period, which may vary
• 6 call shifts required per 6-week period, which may vary
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Float required within hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed
• Minimum 3 years of experience required
• Level I Trauma experience required; candidates with at least 1 year of Level I Trauma experience may be considered with 2+ years total experience
• Circulating required; scrubbing preferred
• OR RNs must be well-rounded and current in most specialty areas; CV and Transplant experience not required as those areas will not be assigned
• Specialty areas covered include General, Plastics, GYN, ENT, Trauma, Neuro, Ortho, GU, and Colorectal Robotics
• Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Average daily census of 70-80 patients across 21 rooms
• Charting system: Cerner
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Parking is free
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Required skills include but are not limited to: abdominal/vaginal hysterectomy, craniotomy, colorectal robotic surgery, Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, laparoscopic assisted cases, total joint replacement, trauma, Whipple procedure, ALIF, XLIF, and various additional surgical procedures
• Indiana nursing license, compact license, or temporary license required at time of start
