RN - OR

Job Details:

• Monday through Friday schedule with call and/or holidays required; weekend only position also available
• 6 on-call shifts required per 6-week period (may vary)
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• No block scheduling
• Float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed - floating is required
• Circulate required; scrub preferred
• Must be well-rounded and current in most surgical areas except CV and Transplant
• Core 6 unit covers: Neuro, Ortho, General, Plastics, GYN, ENT, GU, Trauma, and Robotics
• Average daily census of 70-80 patients across 21-24 rooms
• Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Minimum 3 years of experience required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Scrubs provided by facility; parking is free
• Special equipment includes the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (preferred), PALS (preferred)
• Required skills include but are not limited to: General OR, Trauma, Craniotomy, Total joint replacement, Robotic surgery (GYN, Ortho, Neuro, Urologic, GI), Laparoscopic procedures, Colorectal robotic surgery, Whipple, and various orthopedic and neurological procedures
