Job Details:

• Position specialty: OR RN Core 3 & 4 covering General, Plastic, GYN, ENT, Trauma, Neuro, Ortho, GU, and Colorectal Robotics
• Schedule: Monday through Friday with call and/or holidays; weekend-only position also available
• On-call requirement: 40-60 hours per 6-week period with 6 call shifts per 6-week period (may vary)
• Must be willing to float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby as floating is required
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Minimum 3 years of experience required
• Level I Trauma experience required; candidates with at least 1 year of Level I Trauma experience may be considered with a minimum of 2 years total experience
• Circulating required; scrubbing preferred
• Must be well-rounded and current in most surgical areas except CV and Transplant
• Patient age groups served: Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics
• Average daily census: 70-80 patients across 21 rooms
• Charting system: Cerner
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Parking: Free
• Required certifications: BLS; ACLS and PALS preferred
• Required skills include but are not limited to: Abdominal/Vaginal Hysterectomy, Craniotomy, Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, General OR, Laparoscopic Assisted Cases, Total Joint Replacement, Trauma, Whipple, Colorectal Robotic Surgery, Lumbar Fusion, Nephrectomy, Prostatectomy, and Level I Trauma
• Indiana license, compact license, or temporary license required at time of start
• Must be screened and called out if limited in Neuro experience
