OR Registered Nurse Job in Indianapolis, IN

IU Health Riley Hospital for Children is seeking a pediatric OR Registered Nurse for an 84-week travel assignment beginning November 2, 2026. You will work 5x8-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, earning $2,695 per week.

Role Requirements:

• Current Indiana RN license and BLS certification required before submission
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience; 3 years preferred
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Level I trauma experience required
• Neurosurgery experience required; adult experience acceptable
• Call requirement: 4 shifts per 6 weeks
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays

Surgical Experience:

You will scrub for general, urology, endoscopic/laparoscopic, plastics, and ENT procedures. Case complexity ranges from minor to highly complex, including ECMO, burn procedures, tumor resections, and trauma cases. You will have access to advanced equipment including Stealth, DaVinci, and ROSA systems.

Patient Population:

This is a pediatric facility serving neonates, infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents, with some adult cases. Scrub experience is preferred.

Additional Information:

• Floating is required within the hospital and may extend to nearby affiliate hospitals
• Cerner charting system experience is preferred
• Schedule flexibility: 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM to 5:30 PM) are also available as an option
