Sterile Processing Tech - Sterile Processing Tech

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday with holiday rotation
• No weekend requirement
• May be required to float or be permanently switched to CSC, Main, or West Campus to meet facility needs
• Floating to sister facilities is required
• Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience required
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Experience required in sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrap SPT
• Preferred case experience includes: Neuro, GU, robotics, ENT, ortho, transplant, and GYN
• Required certifications: CBSPD and/or HSPA (IAHCSMM)
• BLS not required
• Travel experience required
• Skills required include: sterilization wrapping procedures, high-level disinfection, immediate-use steam sterilization, sets/tray assembly, scope/probe reprocessing, biological and chemical indicators, and use of washers/sterilizers
• Experience working with a wide range of surgical specialties including cardiac, orthopedics, robotics, neurology, urology, OB/GYN, laparoscopic, and transplant procedures preferred
