Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 4x12 day shift schedule (48-hour weeks)
• Patient ratio of 1:7 with team nursing model, supported by PCC, LPN, and other staff
• On-call required as needed
• Weekend shifts required as needed; weekend block schedule may be considered and must be discussed during interview
• Unit serves adult and geriatric patient populations with general medical-surgical diagnoses
• 48-bed unit with a daily census of 48
• Interdisciplinary support includes Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Interpretation Services, and Transportation
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg Tele experience required; 3+ years preferred
• Level I or Level II Trauma experience required
• Large hospital experience preferred
• Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment
• EPIC experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Required skills: Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, telemetry, starting and maintaining IVs
• Must hold an active RN license in Tennessee or a compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines
• ADN accepted; BSN not required for this position
• Driver's license required at time of submission
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of submission
• If assignment includes end-of-year holidays, traveler must be willing to work 2 of 3 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) if all three fall during assignment, or at least 1 of 2 if only two holidays fall during assignment
