Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Scrub cases alongside an Interventional Radiologist
• Monday through Friday schedule with rotational weekend coverage included
• Call requirements included as determined by the needs of the department
• Float within facility and scope of practice as needed
• Average daily caseload of approximately 10 procedures
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Maximum of 7 days of pre-approved time off per contract
• Required general skills: Portables, C-Arm, Contrast, and Biopsies
• Preferred general skills: IV Starts, Phlebotomy, and EKGs
• Required IR experience: Ablations, Nephrostomy/Nephogram, Kyphoplasty, Peripherals, Biopsies, and Hemodynamic Monitoring
• Required equipment experience: GE and Philips
• Procedures include: Angioplasty, Carotid Stenting, Catheter/Drain Exchange, Central Venous Access, Chest Tube Placement, Dialysis Graft Creation/Revision, Embolization, Endovascular Interventions, ERCP, Gastrostomy Tube Placement, IVC Filter Placement, Biliary Drainage, Liver Biopsy, Mesenteric Angiogram, Paracentesis, PICC Line Care and Maintenance, Renal Artery Stent Placement, TIPS, Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography, and Ureteral Stent Placement
• Must maintain sterile field during scrub procedures
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Required certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, BLS
