Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Must work every other weekend and holidays
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Experience with tracheostomies and ventilators required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• BLS certification required
• Scrubs required in Ciel Blue color
• May be required to float to other Medical Surgical units
• Develop individualized care plans by interviewing patients and families
• Administer therapeutic measures including medications, IV therapy, and mechanical ventilation
• Initiate emergency measures when physician is not immediately available
• Provide patient and family education on preventative, curative, and rehabilitative measures
• Document nursing interventions, patient responses, and coordinate care between disciplines
• Supervise and delegate tasks to licensed practical nurses and unlicensed personnel
• Maintain current nursing knowledge and promote professional growth
• Ensure adequate supplies and equipment while maintaining safe environment
