Interventional Radiology RN Job in Cape Girardeau, MO

Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, Missouri is seeking an RN for its Interventional Radiology department. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 5, 2026, with day shifts on a 3x12 schedule. You will earn $2,424 weekly.

In this role, you will provide direct patient care in the Interventional Radiology department, including patient monitoring and vital sign observation. You will maintain and manage intravenous lines for patients receiving IV fluids, and administer medications under physician direction. You will assist with invasive and non-invasive procedures in the IR suite, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, and Diagnostic settings. Patient ratio is 1:1 in Imaging.

Your responsibilities include:

• Maintaining and restocking emergency equipment and supplies, including crash cart drug inventory
• Serving as liaison between the Imaging department and patient care divisions
• Documenting patient records accurately while patients are in the Imaging department
• Interacting with patients of various age groups and diverse social and economic backgrounds
• Working with Nihonkohden patient monitors and the CERNER EMR system (transitioning to EPIC)
• Floating as needed within the facility

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, and BLS
• ARNA certification preferred
• Ability to read, write, and speak English

Weekend hours and on-call rotation are required as needed. Surgical scrubs are provided for the procedure area; street clothes are not acceptable attire.
